Test Set Timer ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google — we do not receive or store your Google password.

Swim data. Swimmer names, times, sets, results, and any other content you enter into the App.

Device & usage data. We may collect basic analytics such as device type, operating system version, and crash reports to improve app stability. We do not track your location.

Payment information. Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your credit card number or payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
• To authenticate your account and sync data across your devices.
• To communicate with you about your account or important service updates.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve reliability.

3. We Never Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data exists solely to power the service you signed up for. We do not monetize your data in any way beyond the subscription you pay for.

4. Data Security & Encryption

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text.

While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only in these limited circumstances:

• Team members. If you create or join a team, other members of that team can see shared rosters, sets, and results. You control who is on your team.
• Service providers. We use third-party infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, authentication) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.

7. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & export. You can view all your data within the App at any time.
• Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Correction. You can update your account information within the App.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Coaches may enter swimmer names and times for athletes of any age. This data is entered and controlled by the coach, not by the athletes themselves.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Sign-In, Apple App Store, Google Play). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
